    One day Fansipan trekking

I took a one day treking tour to Fansipan mountain with May. She was really approachable, interesting and fun and I would recommend everyone to take her tour. We started early in the morning and finished just before sundown (about 11.5 hours in total) but that could have been less if I didn't have to stop every minute. It was really cloudy at the top but definitely worth the experience.

We stayed with May in July and had an absolutely wonderful time. The homestay is beautiful and May is a fabulous host. She was able to accommodate our vegan needs - making an egg-free pancake is difficult and hers turned out perfectly. Family dinner around May’s table was a highlight of our trip.

May, Ton, and her family are the most amazing hosts and best guides through SaPa! The paths we followed hiking were off the beaten path - we were oftentimes the only ones in the area - and the views were incredible. Ton shared lots of information about the local plants and villages, which was very interesting. The home stay was clean and comforting with an absolutely unbeatable view! The food was also fantastic and it was very fun talking to May and Ton at night. I had such an amazing trip! I recommend booking a tour with Mayland Sapa Trekking to everyone!
